Order according to art 6 of the Law

EQUAL TREATMENT OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS PROVIDERS
The Home Secretary in the exercise of the powers conferred on him, based on the article 6 of the Town Planning and Spatial Planning Law, issues this order, in order to ensure equal treatment in relation to the handling of applications concerning deployments by Electronic Communications Providers. This order is valid in all areas to which the Town Planning and Spatial Planning Law applies, and with respect to all Development Plans, Decrees and Orders of the Minister of the Interior.

The modern ones, reliable, high-quality CIOs Electronic Communications contribute substantially to the economic, technological and social development of Cyprus. The aim of this Order is the equal treatment of Electronic Communications Providers to ensure effective and fair competition in the Electronic Communications sector, given that according to the Electronic Communications and Postal Services Regulation Law, N112(1)/2004, the market in the field of Electronic Communications has been liberalized.

For the purposes of this Order
(a) "provider" means a person authorized by the Commissioner for Electronic Communications Regulation and the Post Office to provide an electronic communications network and/or services or postal services or related facilities, to the public,
(b) “provide networks: ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS' means the installation, operation, control ~ disposition of such a network.

4. All the provisions of the Development Plans, of his Decrees and Orders
Minister of the Interior, which refer to the handling of requests related to the provision of an electronic communications network by the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (ATH.K.) (B.C. telephone networks, telephone cables, telecommunications, infrastructure networks) or other planning regulations (B.C. how to calculate the building factor), will be interpreted and applied in the same way and with regard to similar infrastructure of another Provider.
